After the collapse of the central government, the country was in a state of crisis, and most of its infrastructure was destroyed. Fishermen were facing serious challenges. In general, the Somali population has historically not been a big fan of eating fish so the number of fishermen was small as the number of people who consumed it were small. The devastation has resulted in many problems for small fishermen that have affected both the economy and livelihoods of fishermen and some of these are; The problem of foreign vessels engaging in illegal fishing in our seas, as our seas are overflowing with many species of fish and seeing foreign vessels as vulnerable (no one to protect them) they began to fish even closer to the coasts and these vessels always roll the nets that the small fishers lay in the sea to trap the fish and catch, then the fishermen miss the nets as well as the fish. The last articles we talked about illegal fishing and the last world operations in Somali water. The overall conclusion to solve all the challenges ended up to develop Somali's Navy unless it is done the existing challenges in our ocean would remain. In the last years, rebuilding of the Somali’s important  institutions was going on and some of them reached a at good stage but the marine forces(Navy) did not do visible improvements alongside having the longest mainland coast in Africa. Of course the country came from a severe situation and the government was tackling many problems that took all its attention. Now it is the time to think more for the development of our Navy. There are many challenges ahead to reshape the navy, including the financial obstacles, lack of  focus to develop the Marine forces( Navy) and so on. After the collapse of the central government of Somalia, Maritime insecurity arose when piracy broke out in this short article, the author is not going to discuss why piracy created in Somalia but the writer is arguing, currently is there maritime insecurity which can compel the world to create a new mission of ant-piracy and related crimes or extend the mandate of the existed mission in Somalia?. In Somalia, when the government devastated a lot of organized crimes happened in the water of Somalia and the world decided to fight against these crimes, though there are different people saying there are reasons behind these groups committing such kind of crimes but in here we would discuss is there the need to extend the mandate of missions going on in Somali sea like Atlanta or to create new missions preventing such these crimes? The government of Somalia gave fishing license to the number of chinese vessels fishing in Somali territorial sea, the biggest question that every person is asking is, what do we exchange to our fish and what prevents  these ships to transgress the rules and regulations as well as the agreement, another surprising things in this issue is, standardly, when you are giving license to a fishing vessel you should do the following by keeping your interests; the gears, species and fishing area must already be clear and there should be inspector on board who gives daily report to the responsible institution even if we agree those who would monitor as Somalis?.
